WINCHESTER EXCHANGE 2016

Anastasia Gómez Vybornova, nos cuenta su experiencia del viaje-intercambio a Winchester, que han realizado un grupo de alumnos de nuestro IES Margarita Salas acompañados por los profesores del departamento de inglés, Javier Arroyo y Joann Wilson:

• "Two weeks ago we were walking in London in the rain. Only two weeks ago an incredible experience for students of 3 ESO started. 

• Everything began on Wednesday 13^th in the morning. Each student with their baggage filled with excitement and ready for travelling with their friends for eight days. Even after 12 hours of planes and waiting-time, the meeting with our partner filled us with energy. 

• It might be difficult for you to imagine that 2 teachers and 28 students can bring good weather to England; that they can travel on the London underground without difficulties, and without anyone getting lost, but this is what happened!

• We visited Bath, Stonehenge, London, Portsmouth, Harry Potter Studios…

• Maybe you´ll think we only saw English stereotypes, but living with English families opened our minds far beyond the rain and little food.

• Eight days flew by and nobody had told us that farewells are so sad. I’ve got the feeling that the memories of this trip can´t be explained by photos or by words. Those are memories that only we can understand.

• We are looking forward meeting our partners from Winchester, who will come the 10th of May.

• Once again, thanks to our school for giving us this amazing chance".
